Purpose: This study set out to look into how organizational culture and transformational leadership affected performance as well as how commitment affected performance.
Design/methodology/approach: In this study, data was obtained by providing a list of questionnaires to the respondents so that they are classified as primary data types. The analysis technique of this research used Structural Equation Modeling, hereinafter abbreviated as SEM to investigate the link between variables.
Findings: The findings are interesting that transformational leadership has a role that influences commitment, which empirically the role of transformational leadership can create commitment to a person so that it will be formed and have an impact on performance.
Research, Practical & Social implications: Both directly and through commitment, transformational leadership and culture of organizational contribute to better performance.
Originality/value: This study is among the first to explore the influence of transformational leadership on performance through commitment in the Republic of Indonesia's finance and development supervision agency, and can serve as a reference for future research in the field.
