Children's sport reserves in athletics
Abstract
Within the field of children's training, they are used to study the state of evolution of children's individual and general performance capacities, as well as the level of performance in the most complex competitions related to the sport of athletics. The objective was to evaluate the state of the reserve of children's athletics in Villa Clara, with a view to obtaining outstanding results in these competitions in the short and medium term. A methodology with a dialectical-materialist approach was used, employing statistical-mathematical methods. The results were obtained from the data base and their respective analyses, which allowed for a more objective evaluation of the sports reserves in the province. Regarding the discussion, the different results of the children were evaluated by means of tests and it was revealed that, although the total of the participating athletes do not emerge as perspective athletes, the first five places in each test present conditions to be promoted to other levels. In conclusion, we can affirm that the children's athletics reserve of Villa Clara is potentially in good conditions to obtain outstanding results in national competitions in the short and medium term.
