Managerial competencies and management support systems administrative district municipalities

Background and Purpose: In various investigations, the need for the institutions to have directors who possess managerial competencies that guarantee the fulfillment of objectives and organizational development has been raised. This disquisition aimed to determine the level of relationship between managerial competencies and support systems in the administrative management of the district municipalities of the Province of Cusco, Peru, 2018. Method: Quantitative research, positivist paradigm, applied type, descriptive, non-experimental transectional correlational type. Sample: 213 executives belonging to the 8 municipalities studied. To collect the information, the survey was used as a technique with the application of an opinion questionnaire as an instrument, containing 50 items, validated by expert judgment. Reliability with Cronbach's Alpha coefficient. Data analysis with descriptive statistics, they were recorded in graphs and tables. They were processed in the statistical software SPSS 25. Results: considerable positive correlation and high significance between managerial competencies and administrative management support systems. Conclusions: The managerial competences influence the support systems in administrative management.
