Abstract

The research dealt with the effect of transformational leadership with its dimensions for being described as an independent variable in innovation and as a dependent variable through empowerment. The study was conducted in the Scholarships Department that is related to Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The number of the research sample was 70 individuals. The questionnaire was used to collect information, and the five-point Likert scale was used to collect information. The questionnaire was subjected to a test of validity and reliability in order to ensure the validity of the statistical results. A number of statistical methods have been used for the purpose of proving the validity of the statistical results to prove the validity or invalidity of the research hypotheses. Among these statistical methods:.

 Arithmetic mean, standard deviation, regression, and path analysis

In light of the results, the validity of the research hypotheses was proven, and a number of conclusions were reached, the most important of which was the presence of a statistically significant effect of transformational leadership on innovation, and this effect increased by the empowerment mediation.

The researcher followed the analytical descriptive approach as it is an appropriate approach for this type of research. The study concluded with a set of recommendations, the most important of which was the need for coordination between the department bodies that were studied and researched in order to create an opportunity to build coordinated and clear perceptions about the impact of transformational leadership in the dimensions of innovation through the empowerment and the dimensions of transformational leadership.
