Knowledge management is a vital part of organisations' development and maintaining their competitive edge. It involves the collection, storage, retrieval and sharing of knowledge within the organisation (Azeem et al., 2021). This paper looks at the problems in managing and concentrates on the field of knowledge management, as well as their impact on organisations. It also provides an overview of the strategies that can be implemented to address these issues and ensure the successful implementation of knowledge management initiatives. The researcher used here secondary data collection techniques, interpretivism philosophy; deductive research approach, explanatory research design, and qualitative method to develop this research paper. Certain managerial concerns and issues can arise when it comes to knowledge management in organizations (Ferraris et al., 2019). These include identifying the right knowledge resources, managing access to these resources, ensuring data security and privacy, and developing effective strategies for transferring knowledge from one person or team to another. Unfortunately, many organizations struggle with Knowledge Management issues that can lead to poor decision-making, lack of innovation, and inefficient operations. Also, these issues can have a significant impact on the organisation, ranging from reduced productivity to increased costs. The findings of this research paper show that several managerial concerns and issues need to be addressed for organisations to effectively manage their knowledge assets (Migdadi, 2019). These include the need for better communication between departments, improved data collection and analysis, adequate resources for knowledge sharing, and effective training programmes for employees. By implementing these, an organization can gain a competitive advantage and improve its activities
