Abstract

Supply chain integrates businesses across the world as all the materials and components from along the supply chain are needed, and by integrating everything into a single system, it is much easier for effective product creation. Due to the outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic, businesses and related operations have been disrupted in a way which has impacted supply chain and other economic activities in Jordan. The study was conducted to assess the disruption in supply chain across Jordan and further impacts on the economy. To aid the road to recovery, a variety of new and innovative measures have been announced across a range of major economies, including efforts to backstop household incomes and wages through subsidies to firms, quicker and more universal access to sickness and unemployment benefits, and the provision of relief on household liabilities.
