Abstract

The retention of employees is a critical factor in ensuring the stability and continuation of a company, particularly in the face of intensifying business competition. The influence of work environment variables and work satisfaction on an employee's decision to stay with the organization is widely acknowledged. The research methodology employed in this study is a quantitative approach, utilizing a questionnaire as the primary instrument for data collection. The survey included a total of 50 employees as respondents. The findings of the study indicated a significant positive relationship between the work environment and employee retention at PT Modern Sukses Semesta. Additionally, the study revealed a positive association between work satisfaction and employee retention. Furthermore, the results of the F-count test demonstrated a simultaneous positive impact of both the work environment and work satisfaction on employee retention. The retention of employees is notably impacted by the work environment and work satisfaction, with a substantial influence of 63%.
