Abstract

The objective of this study is to explore the role of organizational commitment between organizational justice and organizational citizenship behavior. Data were collected two hundred and fifty two (N=252) employees of Muslim commercial bank, United Bank Limited, Habib Bank Limited and JS Bank Limited through organizational citizenship behavior Questionnaire (Podsakoff et al., 1990), organizational commitment Questionnaire (Meyer and Allen, 1991) and OJ Questionnaire (Niehoff and Moorman, 1993). Amos and SPSS were the software through which data were analyzed. The results of correlation and structure equation modeling showed a significant positive relationship between organizational justice and organizational commitment (r=0.481, p=0.000), organizational justice and organizational citizenship behavior (r=0.515, p=0.000), organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behavior (r=0.627, p=0.000).
