Abstract

How can educators prepare students to be global citizens in an era where globalization is the norm by providing them with the knowledge, skills, and experiences they will need? The research has determined the problems affecting and provided some governance implications in order to prepare students who are able to learn and adapt to become global citizens. Robots, the internet of things, and automation will disrupt the job market at an unprecedented rate in the era of the 4.0 revolution. Some jobs will likely no longer exist. Typically, self-driving cars will become popularity during the next few years, and at that point, truckers and taxi drivers will vanish from many countries, not just the US. Another illustration is the automation of numerous accounting jobs, which will transform what an accountant does in the future. Therefore, it is crucial to give students the knowledge and skills they need to be able to adapt to the changing workplace and labor market.
