Abstract

For a long time, Brain drain has been a problem, especially in developing countries. This issue has two sides, positive and negative, but its long-term influences cannot be denied. In a country with a long-standing agricultural economy like Vietnam, the consequences of brain drain really affect the country's sustainable development. The scope of the article will define the practice in one of the regions with strong growth in the proportions of agriculture, such as the Mekong Delta.  Thereby, the causes and trends of brain drain. By using the synthesis, analysis, and comparison methods of the Mekong Delta‘s brain drain, the study will indicate some solutions for changing brain drain problems.
