Abstract

After entering the 1990s, with the new round of international division of labor in the Asia-Pacific region and the strengthening of regional economic cooperation, especially because China and Southeast Asia continued to open to the outside world, the economic and trade relations between Hong Kong and the Asia-Pacific region developed rapidly. According to reports, only the trade volume between Hong Kong and the Asia-Pacific region has accounted for 47.2% of its total trade volume. The improvement of Hong Kong's status in the Asia-Pacific region will play a positive role in the adjustment of its industrial trade structure and the development of the overall economy
