The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data sources using primary data (traditional artists) and secondary data (books, recordings). The results of the study found that ethnic music and dance from North Sumatra could be packaged into teaching materials in schools. Cultural Arts teaching materials that are arranged are Simalungun traditional music and Sibolga traditional dance. The music art material contains techniques in playing the gonrang sipitu ensemble, while the dance art material contains the Saputangan dance technique. With the preparation of teaching materials in the form of learning videos, it is hoped that the learning outcomes of Cultural Arts will be even better and students will get to know the traditional arts of North Sumatra.
