The Role of Education Institutions in Investing Human Element: An Empirical Study inside the Green Line

The study aimed to identify the role of education institutions in investing the human element in higher education institutions inside the Green Line. To achieve the objectives of the study, a questionnaire was designed and distributed to the study sample which amounted to (200) members who were randomly selected. The statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) was used for data processing. The results showed that domains of human elements investment were high (upgrading capabilities of employees at higher education institutions, creating an ambiance supportive of human investment, reinforcing homage and belonging in those employees, consolidating sharing principles, accountability, and management transparency in such institutions). The findings also showed that there were no differences with statistical significance for the degree of investment in the human element that might be attributed to variables of age and academic qualification. In addition, the results revealed that there were no differences with statistical significance attributed to years of experience variables except for the domain of consolidating excellence principles, competitiveness, and the ability to give. The differences were in favor of the group of (31-50) years of age. The researcher recommends that: employees’ potentials be upgraded, their homage be consolidated, as well, in light of contemporary developments, and management of creativity and innovation initiatives be reinforced.
