Abstract

The study aims to examine relevant business intelligence (BI) factors contributing to the decisions quality among Jordanian telecommunications companies. For this purpose, a questionnaire is developed and distributed to the middle and top management levels. 103 from different business departments who use BI tools in the process of decisions making. Utilizing the PLS-SEM for measurement validation and hypothesis testing, the results demonstrate significant impact on decision quality of all framework constructs. System quality found to be the most influential construct on decisions improvement. In the meantime, information quality and services quality were also significant predictors of decisions quality. The study presents several implications for telecommunication firms to adopt the critical influences of BI system, while organizations that have previously employed BI system can use the finding as a theoretical basis to prioritize the factors that improve decision making quality.
