In recent years, the development of the Japanese language in the tourism and hospitality industry in Vietnam has garnered significant attention. This paper explores the impact and growth of the Japanese language in bolstering the tourism sector and lodging industry within Vietnam. With the influx of Japanese tourists visiting Vietnam, the demand for Japanese-speaking staff and services has increased. Understanding the importance of effective communication in providing high-quality services to Japanese guests, many establishments have prioritized offering language support in Japanese. Moreover, the cultural nuances and etiquettes inherent in the Japanese language play a pivotal role in enhancing the overall experience for Japanese tourists in Vietnam. By integrating elements of Japanese language and culture into various aspects of the hospitality sector, businesses aim to create a welcoming and authentic environment for Japanese visitors. This study delves into the strategies and initiatives employed by Vietnamese establishments to support the growth of the Japanese language within the tourism and hospitality industry.
